We have an immediate and exciting opportunity to be part of our team in the Student Services and Education Division at the University of Southampton. Student and Education Services is responsible for the delivery of all elements of the student experience with respect to student administration, support and co-curricular and co-curricular arrangements for students at the University. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team as we seek to deliver on our ambition to deliver a top-notch student experience aligned with our new university strategy.
We are looking for someone with excellent business analytics to contribute to the success of the University’s project to develop online/distance learning. You will provide high quality business analytics support, with a particular focus on the student journey, and adapting our administration and student welfare services to accommodate new partners and models.
You will take a consultative approach, using expert facilitation skills to work with stakeholders to explore challenges and possible solutions. You will share findings and make recommendations, supporting the development of innovative and sustainable service delivery.
You will support system development work by contributing user requirements and functional specifications, enabling the adaptation of student administration and student welfare services to meet the needs of the e-learning project/at distance.
You will have knowledge of key issues that affect the student experience, have cross-cultural sensitivity and sensitivity, and be comfortable working in a matrix management structure, accountable both within the project and within the service.
You will need to be organized, enjoy working at the pace of a deadline-sensitive workload, and be comfortable with complexity and uncertainty. You must have effective teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
