Metron Appoints Robert Judd as Company Chief Operating Officer and Launches DOD Experimental Capabilities Development Business Group

In this role, Judd will work closely with Metron’s management team and Board of Directors to align business processes for continued growth and financial diversification focused on developing innovative capabilities. His distinguished career includes the development of a wide range of systems including aerospace power converters, torpedo defense, sonar, imaging, communications, chemical/biological/explosive detection and radar systems at through the wall. Prior to joining Metron, Judd was the General Manager of Rantec Power Systems, where he oversaw all day-to-day operations and interfaced with prime contractor management on the company’s aerospace, missile defense and anti-UAS platforms. Over the years, Wagner has played a key role in identifying new opportunities to strengthen the company’s position and produce Metron’s portfolio of autonomous systems technologies and advanced AI/ML applications. From 2020 to 2022, Wagner served as Acting Chief Information Officer for Metron, and he recently completed Wharton Executive Education’s Chief Technology Officer program.
